For sale here is my parents beloved Lincoln Town Car.My father bought this car in the spring of 1988 and him and my mother have used the car for all these years. Back in the late 90’s they used the car to go back and forth to Texas for the winters until just the last few years. As they have aged the drive back and fourth has become to taxing on them and they decided to sell the old Lincoln. We took many trips across the country in this car. California, Arizona to name a couple but the car has really been all over this beautiful country of ours. About 5 years ago we did extensive work to the car including a complete engine overhaul changing the cam, intake manifold, and carburetor to push this land yacht a little faster down the road. Transmission rebuild with new torque converter. Rear end rebuilt replacing all bearings and seals. Gas tank removed and cleaned replacing all the fuel lines at that time. The condition of the car overall is good. It’s been garaged it’s whole life with minimal winter usage. They had the sides of the car painted 15-20 years ago and the interior is in very good shape with only minor issues like a rip in the carpet and fading on the rear seat. The car has over 100,000 miles on it now and the motor, trans, rear ended were all done within the last 7,000 miles. So your basically getting a 40 year old car that’s mechanically new.
