This car drives great, is very fast & draws tons of attention at car shows. All steel with rare Sam Foose blueprinted body modifications. Less than 1,200 miles on entirely new drivetrain done a few years ago as well as new ignition, suspension, brakes & many other components at the same time. Stroked blown 383 SBC roller motor. Weiand polished 177 blower. AFR aluminum heads. Howards hydraulic roller blower cam. Holley HP body 750 CFM blower carb. Forged pistons, forged rods, forged crank. MSD electronic ignition. ARP-studded 4-bolt main block. Motor was professionally built & balanced & was then tuned on engine dyno before being installed. Motor mated to fresh-built TH400 Transmission that’s cooled by a new B&M stacked plate cooler. In front of the transmission is a built-to-order street heavy-duty 10″ torque converter from Dynamic Racing Transmissions. Motor puts out over 500 ft-lbs of torque at just 3,000 RPM, peaking at 523 ft-lbs and 530 HP. The well-tuned motor along with the pro-street blower &built-to-order torque converter, with a stall between 2800-3000, allows the car to drive excellent & easy around town without being jumpy. Get on the gas & you instantly have massive power. Behind the transmission is a built-to-order steel drive shaft with all 1350 heavy-duty U-joints. Rear axle is a 9″ Ford built-to-order by Quick Performance with heavy-duty 1/4″ axle tube walls, Strange nodular iron center section & Eaton Truetrac 3:50 geared limited-slip differential. New Bilstein shocks. All drivetrain components are built to handle and rated at least 600 hp (fully forged rotating assembly, heavy duty torque converter with anti-balloon plates, 1350 U-joints, heavy-walled axle tubes, etc.). Blower has the second-to-largest upper pulley & makes around 5psi. Weiand makes three smaller sizes you could swap-on if wanting to make more power. Exhaust goes through block-hugger headers followed by new collectors, new exhaust & new Hooker Aerochamber mufflers. A Walker Z-series radiator with a new Hayden heavy-duty thermal fan clutch & new Stewart water pump keeps everything cool. Runs between 185-190F in the summer heat. Power brakes with discs in front & big 11″ drums in back. New pads in front, new master cylinder, new proportioning valve, new residual valves, new front & rear flex lines, new entire drum assemblies (from Quick Performance). MII front-end with new MII springs from Eaton Detroit Springs & new QA1 shocks. Front & rear has 15″ powder-coated steel wheels with Uniroyal Tiger Paw 175/65R15 in front & Cooper Cobra 235/80R15 in back. Excellent tread all around. New Tuff Stuff alternator & new Hitachi high-torque mini starter. Vintage Air AC & heat. Blows cold. Will include two cans of real freon for future charges. The electric water temperature gauge in the dash doesn’t work. There’s a mechanical water temperature gauge installed under the dash that works perfect. Call if interested.
