1972 Dodge Charger Rallye 340 – Automatic, Dark Tan Poly on white, rare color combo.

Up for sale is a genuine 1972 Dodge Charger Rallye 340, factory-equipped with bucket seats, a center console, and AM/FM radio. This classic Mopar rides on 15” Rallye wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich T/A radials for that period-correct stance.
Finished in its original T8 Dark Tan Poly (Root Beer) with a freshly replaced white Boar grain vinyl top—a rare and factory-correct option—this Charger presents beautifully as a solid, driver-quality car.
Although the original matching 340 engine is no longer present, it is now powered by a strong 1969 340 engine paired with a 727 automatic transmission and an 8¾ rear end, believed to have 3.55 gears. The car retains its original non–exhaust tip configuration but features a well-done dual exhaust system that sounds excellent.
Inside, everything works perfectly down to the seat belt buzzer. The body is extremely solid, with just one small spot on the lower driver-side fender (may be repaired depending on the sale agreement). Paint is good driver quality with some minor blend areas typical of a car enjoyed on the road. There is a spot on the lower quarter bottom that has had a repair from a tire that fell off at one point in time.
The trunk, engine bay, floor pans, and frame rails remain in outstanding original condition, showing factory paint and originality. The car still wears its original body panels and runs like new—tight, responsive, and ready to drive or show.
