This 1971 Chevrolet Nova 2-Door Sedan was acquired by the seller in 2017. A refurbishment has been completed in August of 2023.

The Nova is not a factory Super Sport (SS) but has been dressed as an SS. The bodywork and two-stage Marina Blue paint was completed in May 2023. The original 307 engine and Turbo 350 transmission were replaced with a rebuilt 396 ci engine, Holley 750 dual feed carburetor, and a resourced Turbo 400 transmission controlled by a Hurst floor shifter. A Derale electric fan is mounted to a new Champion aluminum radiator. All hoses, engine components and accessories are new. The original 10 bolt rear-end was rebuilt with new axles, new 3:36 gears and Posi-traction. The chassis components were refinished with epoxy paint. The front and rear suspensions were completely rebuilt with new upgraded components. New Classic Performance Products (CPP) tubular control arms, Bilstein shocks, new CPP front coil springs, new CPP 500 quick ratio 14:1 power steering box, CPP 1-1/8” sway bar, new front slotted discs. Rear suspension is equipped with new Summit Racing leaf springs, new shocks, new rear drum brakes. All new brake lines and hoses were installed, a new power booster and master cylinder. A new dual exhaust system, new fuel tank and fuel lines. All body to subframe bushings have been replaced. The car was completely rewired with a Painless wiring kit. The fully insulated interior has been refurbished with new front and rear seat upholstery, new door panels, new dash pad, headliner and carpet. Classic Auto Sound stereo has been added. A cold blowing Vintage Air system was installed.
The OEM 14” SS wheels have been restored wearing 215/70/14 and 245/60/14 new BF Goodrich tires. The California title is an active and clear “salvage” California title due to rearend damage to the center taillight section,bumper area, and truck pan. The rear panel damage was repaired by the prior owner. The trunk pan replacement completed by the seller.
