This 1975 International Scout II was purchased in 2021 at an estate sale by Rivera Vineyards in Southern California, the original owner. The off-road ready 4X4 has only **42K original miles** on it as it was only used as a security vehicle on the vineyard’s property – complete with security patrol emblems – what a barn find! When the vineyard closed in 2003, it was stored in a temperature-controlled building on premise for over 20 years before the Rough & Ready dealership in CA bought it to resell. She’s essentially rust-free and accident-free. I have some original paperwork, a line setting ticket and even a fire extinguisher stored in the vehicle from Rivera Vineyards. Also I have meticulously documented all of the restoration work and have a full paper file and Google spreadsheet with all orders, work and receipts.

Its original color of Glacier Blue was oversprayed in 1975 by the original owners with a light coat of off-white paint. I restored it back to its beautiful glacier blue paint with a professional 2-stage paint job complete with a gloss bright white top, stripe kit and trim. It has a professionally-applied dual primer base over a rust-free body with no heavy body putty fills which is so rare with these trucks. The line setting ticket reads that it was undercoated from the factory as well as spending its life in the dry foothills of southern California.

Replaced ALL of the wiring throughout the vehicle with high-end harnesses from Anything Scout ($1700) including ignition, dash, lighting, interior lights and 5-way trainer lighting wires.

Professionally rebuilt the TorqueFlite 727 3 speed automatic transmission. The 4×4 system and auto lock hubs work perfectly. New complete dual exhaust with Flow Master mufflers and 4 new Rough Country shocks. Installed all new brake calipers, discs and pads in front and new drums, shoes and pads in rear with new reinforced brake lines all around. All body bushings and transmission mounts have been replaced with modern nylon mounts and stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. Spring shackle bolts and bushings have also been upgraded and replaced.

New front chrome bumper, LED headlights (have originals). Four new Cragar Nomad White wheels and all new Trail-Terrain 15″ BF Goodrich tires with less than 300 miles on them. The original spare accompanies the sale but chose not to re-mount it inside the truck allow for more cargo space.

Engine bay: Its original super low-mileage 345 International V8 starts and runs very smoothly and reliably. New Optima high-capacity battery, new Holly 220 2 BBL carb, all new plugs, plug wires, coil, fan cowling, new 3-core aluminum radiator, new cooling hoses, new coolant and windshield washer reservoirs, thermostat, temperature sensor, new battery cables and starter relay, new starter and high output alternator, new pulley belts, power brake chamber. Just added a new high-capacity baffled 27 gallon steel gas tank and fuel sending unit.

Interior: Custom matching marine-quality seats, dash, arm rests, center console and door panels. New White Letter gauges that are fully operational. Full wood wrap silver billet steering wheel, wood grain dash decal with matching shift indicator. High quality mass-backed Dark blue nylon loop carpeting (color #602 from Stock Interiors Inc.) including bottom of door panels, kick panels and floor mats. Retro Sound Bluetooth Radio and 4 high-end speakers. Professionally rebuilt accurate quartz-converted Clock. High-end carpeting and sound-deadened interior with a new custom insulated headliner and dome light. Added hydraulic-assisted liftgate guides and and heavy-duty wire fold-down tailgate stops with a snap on matching carpet cover. Added KilMat soundproofing to insides of both doors, under front floor carpets, inside side panels and on sides of removable top. Replaced rubber seals with new ones for entire top, doors and tailgate area.

This is a true gem — ready for summer & fun! Worth every penny – no disappointments. Also have some original paperwork and clear NC title in my name in hand. Don’t miss this one!
