Historic 1932 Ford Roadster with a great provenance. Not only is this a wonderful ’32 to drive and impeccable, it has some very significant history. Foremost, this ’32 Ford Roadster hot rod was built by well respected and National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Inductee, Bob Trostle. Bob Trostle won a remarkable 302 unlimited and 40 limited Sprint Car features in his career.

Bob Trostle with his Grandson, Mark Wilson, built this wonderful masterpiece. The Chassis is all Tostle, ’32 Rails featuring a polished Quick Change rear on coil over shocks, solid front axle with transverse spring and a Mullins Steering Box. “Knock off” Weld Wheels and disc brakes on all 4 corners. Plenty of Chrome every where, by Chrome Reflections.
Body is by Hastings, painted by Tony Ruli and features a custom Black Leather Interior, Billet Specialties Steering wheel and polished column, White faced VDO gauges, floor shift and hideaway sound system. A removable hard top built by Bob and Van Beek is included.
The second historical center piece is the “Numbered” 400 Aluminum Donovan Engine, Block # 383, complete with a very notable Racing History. Purchased in 1984 by Bob Weikert Racing, Raced in Bob Trostle Chassis winning 55 features, set a new world in 1985 and won the Knoxville Nationals. Competed in the 1987 Australian Tour with drivers Jeff Gordon and others.
Roadster with Donovan Engine completed in 1996 and sold to Paul Wilson in June of 2002.
The dash of this wonderful ’32 Ford is replete with a signed Plaque “built by Bob Trostle”
This 1932 Roadster has been in my personal collection for many years and is driven rarely.
