Dodge Power Wagon
Every once in a while you come across one of these vintage Dodge Power Wagons restored as a restomod custom. Now that takes some restoration skills, mind you. Strip it to bare metal, align the panels, transplant the power train, rebuild axles, differential and transfer cases, sandblast and inspect the frame and replace all bushings and steering linkages. Man, that’s a lotta’ work. The chassis and suspension would take 80 to 120 hours of labor. But once its done, the post-war Power Wagons are the giants of the 4X4 kingdom.
This week Earth Motorcars out of Carrollton, Texas listed a restomod 1958 Dodge Power Wagon for sale with an LS3 engine and GM Performance 4L70E transmission. They tell us it was restored by Lil Bits Vintage Speed Garage in Mesa, Arizona. It has an updated 4-wheel-drive system with a rebuilt NP241-C transfer case and 4.56 gears. It has rebuilt CUCV military 1-ton axles, Dana 60 front and Corporate 14-bolt rear with powder coated Hummer H1 12-bolt wheels. The entire body was painted in Willow Opal Green. To a 4X4 fanatic this is a thing of beauty and wonder. They say it was a U.S. Navy vehicle with a Navy plaque still present along with a U.S. Navy inspection stamp.
Among the many updates on this unique restomod Power Wagon are the leather and suede upholstery, Pioneer sound system with a touchscreen and USB, iPod and Android ready, 6 3-way speakers, backup camera, Autometer Hoonigan gauges, Lokar shifter with LED shift indicator, Banjo steering wheel and a 3-inch exhaust. The frame was powder coated and the bed has a new oak floor. It has a Milemarker winch. They say the build was done in 2017, but there are only 180 miles on it since. This one was built to show. But you can’t call it a trailer queen, can you? It might be that nice, though. Not every Baby Boomer can own one … but more Power to you if you can.

Classic Car News This Week
Future Classics
The collector car market has changed in just the past year. At least, that’s the way it seemed to us as we began to understand that the collector car hobby was undergoing a changing of the guard. With knowledge that the Baby Boom generation is fading and that the Gen-X and Gen-Y generations are now out-numbering us as owners of collectible cars, we did a deep dive into researching what the next generation of collectors are looking for. Cars such as this 1994 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo being offered for sale at Motorcar Classics in New York, top the list. Our research uncovered what the Millenials will be buying. Click here to read all about the Top Ten Cars most sought after today as the collector car market transforms from ’60s and ’70s muscle cars to “tuner” power. Six years ago these cars were readily available at “used car” prices. Now many will approach six figure values in the next year.
Real Deal Yenko Camaro
A hot new listing was just posted to the GAA Classic Winter Auction inventory. Yes, this Hugger Orange 1969 Yenko Camaro 427 was just listed as one of the featured cars to be offered in the Saturday sale in Greensboro, North Carolina. The auction will be held February 19-21, 2026 at the Auto Palace. That’s only two weeks away. And this amazing real COPO Yenko will be on the docket. It will be Lot # 0081 on Saturday. This frame-off restoration comes with its Certificate of Verification from The COPO Collection. They say it has the correct 512 block and Muncie 4-speed transmission. This car was sold new at Yenko Chevrolet and has been restored to show quality standards. See dozens of detailed photos at the link. Get more auction info below.

1969 Hertz Rent-A-Racer
The year 1969 was the last year that Hertz Rent-A-Car Company offered a Shelby GT350 in its rental fleet. Only 150 were assigned to the Hertz Rent-A-Racer program in that final year. This week a Grabber Yellow 1969 Shelby GT350 Hertz Rent-A-Racer was listed for sale by WeBe Autos. The car comes from San Diego, California and they say it spent most of its life in California. Under the hood you will find an M Code 351 V8 mated to a smooth shifting FMX automatic transmission. It has air conditioning and power steering, tilt-a-way steering wheel, Traction Lok differential, power front disc brakes and a Shaker hood. It comes with a Marti Report. What is important about this car to collectors is that it is the end of a legacy. For some of us Baby Boomers, the 1969 Shelby GT350 Fastback with the Ram Air NACA-style ducted fiberglass hood was the best looking Shelby Mustang they ever produced. Click here to watch a walk-around video and hear it run. Oh, man, is it clean inside.
Rare Find
With paint blemishes and in need of a fresh interior, this 1937 Lincoln Model K V-12 Convertible is a project waiting to be refurbished … but what a find! Talk about rare! Only 977 Model K Lincolns were ever produced. What’s more there are only 10 known to survive today. It is possible that only five of those were convertible sedan models. It is being offered for sale by Beverly Hills Car Club in Los Angeles. Call them to find out who the coach builder is (not mentioned in the ad.) The long wheelbase and convertible sedan body give it a commanding look, while classic design elements – flowing fenders, wide running boards, and period chrome – anchor it firmly in the late 1930s. It has the rare retractable divider window separating the passenger compartment from the open cab chauffeur cabin. The passenger compartment has a tan canvas folding top. The teardrop headlamps give it a distinctive look. You will be the only one to have a Lincoln like this in your collection. These cars are more rare than Cadillacs or Packards of the same era.
2022 Ferrari F8 Spider
Out of an amazing selection of exotic cars just listed by Earth Motorcars in Carrollton, Texas comes this Bianco Avus 2022 Ferrari F8 Spider with optional front lift feature and only 3k original miles. Of course, it comes with factory features like leather, Navigation, Bluetooth, power convertible roof, exterior parking camera with sensors, dual zone air conditioning, perimeter approach lights, Bose audio and adaptive suspension. Note the 20″ Forged Matt Grigio Corsa wheels with Yellow brake calipers. Click the video link on the ad page to find out more. It is just one of a big selection of Ferraris and other sports cars available this week at Earth Motorcars north of Dallas. They have over 60 exotic cars for sale today. Find more below in the Exotic Car Section of this newsletter.
Auctions

We are just two weeks away from the big GAA Classic Winter Auction coming up February 19-21, 2026 in Greensboro, NC. Several important collections of highly desirable collector cars will be offered for sale for the first time at the GAA Classic this year. All will be offered at No Reserve. That’s amazing! Dedicated to their following of classic car, muscle car and unique specialty vehicle buyers, the GAA Classic is well respected in the collector car community as a source of rare collector cars and trucks. They expect over 750 vehicles to be sold during the three-day sale next month. Their selection of classic and muscle cars is especially interesting this year. Here are some you will be interested in, all at No Reserve.
1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible
GTO’s are so hot in this market, you don’t see them for sale at No Reserve very often. But the GAA Classic Winter Auction just posted this Maroon 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible to their inventory for their upcoming sale. Isn’t it a beauty? Check out all the photos at the link. With a 400 ci V8 and console shifted Muncie 4-speed manual transmission it has all the power and muscle car feel that you want in a GTO. It puts the power to the ground through its 10-bolt Posi rear end. The car has a power top, power steering and stock radio with factory 8-track player. The engine bay is real clean as is the interior with wood steering wheel. Your chance to own it improves because it will be offered at No Reserve.
Mercury Lead Sled
Lead sled customs are an interesting part of the collector car hobby. Now more of an art form than a hobby, custom lead sleds are hard to find in the market these days. A flamed 1949 Mercury Custom is a great example of the art form. It will be offered for sale at No Reserve early in the Saturday sale at the GAA Classic Winter Auction at the Auto Palace in Greensboro. It is Lot # 12 for Saturday. The custom Merc is old school with a mechanical rebuild having been performed in 2022. It has a Fat Man Fabrications front end. It comes equipped with a Ford 302 ci V8 engine matched with a rebuilt C4 automatic transmission. It now has a new Vintage Air system with a polished compressor. See photos at the link.
2015 Indy Pace Car
For the Millenial buyers, there is a 2015 Camaro Indy Pace Car Convertible being offered for sale at No Reserve also. This fresh addition to the GAA Classic Winter Auction will be Lot # 9.1 on Friday, so it will be one of the first cars sold that day. It is number 77 out of only 100 Pace Cars produced that year. The 2015 pace cars were not mass-produced for public dealer sales like in some previous years. Most of the replicas were dealer promotional vehicles, for VIPs and GM promotions. You see it here in Abalone White Pearl finish with blue racing stripes and Indy 500 graphics. They say it has only 29k actual miles. The Pace Car dealer edition is an SS model which came with a 6.2L SFI V8, and a 6-speed manual transmission, power steering, power convertible top, power mirrors, rear park assist, power windows, power seats, heated seats, red leather and steering wheel mounted controls. And it was given ground effects.

1969 Chevelle Convertible
With beautiful chrome and paint, BFG’s, SS wheels, sport mirrors, and even a parade boot … this car was obviously restored to be a super nice show quality SS Tribute. It is a 1969 Chevelle Convertible with a real clean SS 396 under the hood. Click the video window above to watch this detailed inspection by Earl at MGM Classic Cars in Addison, Illinois. This one won’t last long. Listen to that engine gurgle with that mild lopey cam. This is the way to advertise a car on the internet these days.

Collector Cars with Low Miles
2012 Corvette Stingray
What a great deal on a very low mile 2012 Corvette Stingray! Beverly Hills Car Club has just posted a silver Stingray which they tell us has only 7,679 miles. It has the removeable Targa top for open air driving, and who wouldn’t love to be seen in a late model Corvette? It has the 6.2L V8 LS3 engine producing 430 horsepower, and a 6-speed manual transmission (that’s something you don’t see everyday anymore.) The 4-wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, power windows and mirrors and quad exhaust tips are what you would expect on a well-optioned Corvette. It rides on 18-inch wheels. The power adjustable seats and center console are creature comforts and the Kenwood stereo adds the sounds. This one is priced in your budget. Hurry!
Here are more recent Low Miles additions:
1991 Cadillac Brougham, Unique Classic Cars, MN, 24,650 actual miles
You’ll find these and hundreds more in our Low Miles Section online now.
Project Vehicles for Restoration
1937 Rolls-Royce 25/30
Does it have the Spirit of Ecstasy radiator mascot? Yes, it does. That is a vintage 1937 Rolls-Royce 25/30 Saloon, a transcendant example of how Rolls-Royce was maturing in the classic 1930’s. In fact, this is a right-hand-drive edition as it was imported from England. Of course, it has the crank-out front windshield. This one is interesting because it was retro-fitted with a V8 engine and has an automatic transmission. This design was one of the last to be created prior to World War II, which makes it popular among collectors. It is being offered for sale at Beverly Hills Car Club in Los Angeles. They tell us it runs and drives, but will need some work to make it road worthy. This is one you might want to have inspected to see if it will meet your needs.

1956 Ford Ranch Wagon
If you are looking for a classic station wagon at a bare bones price you might want to consider this 1956 Ford Ranch Wagon from Arizona. The car is a restoration project which is not quite finished, although the seller says it is “mostly done … needs interior and wiring.” You can see it takes a good picture with base coat/clear coat paint, and the seller says it has a 351W under the hood matched with a C6 Ford transmission. He says this car was his labor of love. But health issues are forcing him to sell. He says it was done frame-off with hundreds of hours in sanding to make it straight and true. He was originally asking over $20,000, but just this week he dropped the price to $16,000. If you finish it, you’ll make money just flipping it.

With a Muncie 4-speed, Holley dual feed 4-barrel, Winters aluminum intake and factory exhaust manifolds, somebody put this car together who knew what they were doing. Deals of the Day
1978 Camaro Z28
Is that GM’s Dark Blue metallic paint? Camaro Z28’s from the late 1970’s are promising to be very collectible someday. That’s why this sharp looking 1978 Camaro Z28 will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. You can still buy it for an affordable price. It has the 350 small block engine and 4-speed automatic transmission. Listen to the nice rumble at idle. With Vintage Air, power disc brakes and power steering, it is a thrill to drive. Watch the video and Mia will take you on a test drive to show you how it performs. And it accelerates. Whooah, Mia. Slow down! Hurry on this one. It won’t last long. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. Their asking price is only $18,500.
1954 Chevrolet 3100
Once again this week Beverly Hills Car Club has listed some of the lowest priced popular collector cars we’ve seen in the past year. Take this 1954 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup for example. It is finished in Mariner Blue paint with a grey interior. Although it is a drive classic pickup, the panel fitment and metal all seem to be in good shape. We recommend having it inspected to find out if it looks this good in person. It has the inline 6 cylinder engine with a single-barrel carburetor, four wheel drum brakes, and an automatic transmission. Note the period correct wheels with whitewall tires and Chevrolet hubcaps. It has stepsides, driver side mirror and custom Sunpro instruments. These 3100 pickups are known for their reliability. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Sunday. Their asking price is only $26,500.
1959 Austin-Healey 100-6
Oh, man, I remember pickup up one of these when I was in college. What a chick magnate that was. This 1959 Austin-Healey 100-6 Convertible is a reminder of how popular two-seater sports cars have always been in the U.S. Unlike anything Detroit wanted to make, the Austin-Healey was being exported from Great Britain to the U.S. They estimate about 1,200 were shipped to the U.S. This was the last year for the 100-6 as the 3000 was being produced by mid-year. This Colorado Red version was just posted for sale by Beverly Hills Car Club. You can tell from the paint that the driver door has been replaced. There is a color mismatch. That may be why the price on this one is so affordable. It was not too long ago that prices on these cars were untouchable. This one has the 2912 cc inline 6 cylinder engine, a pretty potent power plant for such a pint sized car. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Monday next week. Their asking price is just $24,750.
1965 Chevrolet El Camino
Beverly Hills Car Club also listed this 1965 Chevrolet El Camino for sale this week. With a few tasteful custom touches, they actually improved the look of this car/truck with the Chevelle Malibu front end. Lowered just slightly, it gives it that sleek look with a custom hood and distinctive dual air scoops. The eye-catching Regal Red paint looks sharp. This one is powered by a V8 engine that is accompanied by a 4-barrel Holley carburetor and an automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes an upgraded aluminum radiator, front-wheel disc brakes, power steering, quad exhaust, chrome bumpers, BFGoodrich tires, and 15-inch 5-spoke Rocket Racing wheels. It also has bucket seats, Grant GT steering wheel, dual-side rearview mirrors, a cargo bed, and a fender-mounted antenna. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Tuesday. Their asking price is $17,500.
2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD
If you are looking for a heavy duty pickup truck for a second vehicle, this 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4X4 LS is worth a look. The crew cab shortbox pickup looks so sharp in the photos that you could drive it on Sunday. It is being offered for sale at 4-Wheel Classics out of Holland, Michigan. They describe it as a “super clean one owner truck that has been well cared for.” They say it was owned by an elderly couple who could no longer drive it. They tell us it is in “top notch” mechanical condition. It has the 6.0L Vortec V8 with a 4L80E automatic transmission which “shifts great.” They say the 4WD works as it should. The rear axle is an AAM 10.5 with 4.10 gears and factory limited slip. The front is IFS with 4.10 gears also. It even has new BFG 16-inch All Terrain tires. Click here to watch a walk-around video and hear it run. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Wednesday. Their asking price is $17,900.
1998 BMW Z3 Roadster
When the first BMW Z3’s came out in 1995 they were a little under-powered. But here is the later version, a 1998 BMW Z3 Roadster with the 2.8 liter inline six cylinder engine. This is a one-owner in the iconic Atlantic Blue color. This car is loaded with M model trim. It is being offered for sale by Haggle Me, an internet broker representing a client. It has a power top, automatic transmission and is said to be well maintained. It comes with service records. They tell us this car runs and drives as if it were still new. The Z3 body style continued in production until 2002 when it was replaced by the Z4. These cars were produced out of BMW’s Spartanburg, SC plant here in the U.S. It was the first car BMW produced outside of Germany. The Z3 will be our DEAL of the DAY late next week. Their asking price is $15,500.
1987 Pontiac Fiero GT
Here is an amazing find. Cruisin Classics out of Columbus, Ohio just posted a 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT for sale. They say it has just 25,484 actual miles. So it is turnkey ready to hit the road this spring. It is dressed in it’s original factory Medium Red metallic paint which was a new color for ’87. It is still in very nice driver quality condition with a nice shine. It has the aero-styled front end exclusive to the GT model. They say the flip-up headlights work as they are supposed to. Adding further to the sporty side view look and stance is a set of grey 15” OEM lace mesh wheels all wrapped in Riken Raptor tires. The tires are dated 2018, but still look new. Under the hood is a 2.8 liter fuel-injected V-6 mated up to a 3-speed THM-125 automatic transmission. Horsepower is rated at 140. It will be our DEAL of the DAY late next week if it lasts that long. Their asking price is only $15,995.
Often there are more cars that deserve to be in the DEAL of the DAY than we can schedule for our front page feature. Here is a list of cars that just missed the cut for the DEAL of the DAY this week. Remember, you saw them here first:
