Fuelie You Can Trust
One of the rarest versions of the legendary 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertibles was listed in our Chevrolet Section this week. According to Earth MotorCars in Carrollton, Texas, this Fuelie Convertible is one of just 68 Fuelie convertibles built with the 250 horsepower Rochester Fuel Injection system. The only engine more powerful than this was the 283/283 with solid lifters and the Zora Arkus-Duntov cam. But that car was horrible to drive on the street. The 250 hp version small block 283 was docile enough for daily driving, idled smooth and started more easily (and often.)
Earth MotorCars is offering this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Fuelie Convertible for sale this week. With a nut and bolt restoration having been completed, they state that it is AACA qualifield to show. They say it is a column shifted automatic. (We assume it is a Powerglide. You may want to confirm that.) It has a power operated soft top and Continental kit with the decorative bumper guard. The 15-inch wheels have the Chevrolet styled knock-off look. It also comes with fender skirts which are not currently on the car. Oh, yes, and it does have the Wonderbar push-button AM radio.
No other car represents American car culture like the ’57 Chevy Convertible. Every Baby Boomer has had one or wants one now. The Rochester Ramjet Fuel Injection just puts icing on the cake. Truthfully, the Fuel Injection system was the brain child of Chevrolet’s Corvette chief engineer, Zora Arkus-Duntov. It was his design that was ultimately produced for Chevrolet by GM’s Rochester Products Division. His efforts paid off when he finished first and second in the GT class at the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1957. The “Black Widow” Sedans using the Rochester Fuel Injection system are legendary in NASCAR history.

Fixing Dents Quick?
We found this video on YouTube. These guys are working on a 1965 Pontiac GTO that looks like it was used for slingshot target practice. And it was a bondo bucket. They call themselves the Mod Crew. Click here to watch the video. To get all the dings and dents out they are using some techniques that many of you might have done back in the day. They do a good job of explaining the use of a hammer and dolly set, stud welder, slide hammer, dura blocks and even a pneumatic dent hammer. This video represents what a couple of guys can do in a day. This is a lot of work. Luckily the GTO turned out to be a rust free car. Not all of us are gonna’ be so lucky. Nice job. Definitely better than pouring steaming hot water on the metal to make it pop.
Ford Sunliner Inspection
We always tell buyers to make sure to “Inspect Before You Buy.” That’s why our Cars-On-Line Inspection Service is so important to the collector car hobby these days. A buyer from the Midwest wanted to buy a 1959 Ford Galaxie Sunliner from a dealer in the next state over from him. Although he had already seen the car himself, he wanted an independent third party analysis to find out if there were problems he couldn’t detect himself. These are big cars, but the inspector noticed that the braking was a little weak even for drum brakes. For the price, the car runs out nice and handled well. The inspector did notice some waviness and orange peel in the quarter panels. You can read the whole report at the link above. Now the buyer knows the rest of the story.
Buying a collector car without a pre-purchase inspection could be a mistake. The difference between a No. 3 condition daily driver and a No. 2 condition near show car can be a matter of tens of $1,000’s of dollars. You can find out more about pre-purchase inspections here at this link.

1970 LS6 Chevelle 454
Some incredible fresh muscle cars have come up for sale this week. For instance, here is a 1970 Chevelle SS LS6 454/450 monster big block car that needs no introduction. Amazing and rare, it gets attention when you hear that distinctive rumble from the dual exhaust. Ideal Classic Cars in Venice, Florida has it for sale this week. It has been certified as authentic by Jerry MacNeish, a Chevrolet expert. H says it is one of only four such LS6 4-speeds in Gobi Beige as it left the factory. You’ll find it equipped with factory A.I.R. Emissions still intact, a Heavy Duty radiator, Hurst shifter, Muncie M-22 “Rock Crusher” 4-speed, Heavy Duty F41 suspension, ZL2 cowl induction hood and correct CRW 4:10 Positraction Heavy Duty 12-bolt rear axle (only available on the LS6.) It also has power steering and front disc brakes. Click here to view the test drive video and hear it run. This LS6 comes with a build sheet and Protect-O-Plate, and is listed in Dale McIntosh’s LS6 Registry.
Amazing Superbird Muscle
We must be setting a record for Plymouth Superbird ads. This is the third Superbird listed in the past month. A Vitamin C Orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird was just posted for sale at Streetside Classics out of their Phoenix area store. The 440 6 Pack is said to be numbers matching. Only 1,935 Superbirds were built in total. It is a one-year only model produced by Plymouth. Of these, just 408 of them were created with a 440 Six-Pack and an automatic transmission. It has the wood grained center console, high back bucket seats, a 150-mile speedometer and the famous Tic Toc Tach. A conservative factory rated 390 horsepower pulls a 727 Torqueflite 3-speed automatic transmission twisitng an 8 3/4 inch rear end. Oh, and you might get noticed driving this classic Mopar. It has a wing that stands nearly 62 inches off the ground. Click here to watch their walk-around video on YouTube.
McLaren Senna MSO
You won’t find another like it. This 2019 McLaren Senna MSO is the essence of a bespoke built custom exotic car. Finished in stunning MSO Blue Exposed Carbon with Silver painted accents over a matching MSO bespoke interior, this example is an ultra-low mileage, 1 owner with a clean CARFAX. It is still showing just 781 miles! It is being offered for sale this week by Earth MotorCars of Carrollton, Texas in our Exotic Car Section online. They say the manufacturer’s suggested retail price was over $1 million, which includes $170,000 worth of one-off options. It has the McLaren Track Telemetry where the app works with the cameras to tell the driver key information concerning lap data, pedal pressure and steering response. The Bowers & Wilkins 7-speaker audio system is worth $5,680 alone. The driver is belted in with a McLaren Orange 6-point harness, and Pirelli P ZERO TROFEO R tires wrap around the ultra-lightweight 9-spoke wheels. You have to swipe through the photos on the ad page. It is an incredible example of McLaren’s commitment to personalizing the driving experience with these MSO builds.
Auctions

We are anticipating one of the biggest events of the fall auction season. The GAA Fall Classic Auction will be held in Greensboro, North Carolina early next month, November 6-8, 2025. Over 750 vehicles are set to cross the auction block. We consider this auction to be the best barometer of what prices should be on these top end collector cars. Collectors should take notes. Classic car dealers from throughout the Southeastern U.S. will be on hand to buy special cars for their inventories. And countless more from all over the country will be buying online or over the phone. Here are some of the cars that will be sold at No Reserve in November.
1973 Jaguar XKE Convertible
Part of the Dr. Jerry Petty Collection, this 1973 Jaguar XKE Convertible will be offered for sale at No Reserve on Friday, November 7, 2025, during the upcoming GAA Fall Classic Auction in Greensboro, North Carolina. It has the desirable 5.3 Liter V12 engine mated to an automatic transmission. The British Racing Green Jaguar comes with a brown soft top and a color matching hardtop. It has bucket seats and a leather trunk lining. The iconic chrome bumpers and headlight trim are all Jaguar, and the chrome wire wheels really feature the stance. This one comes with factory air and dual exit exhaust. Click here to watch a video walk-around tour and hear it run.
1965 Corvette Convertible
I can’t believe this 1965 Corvette Convertible with both tops is going to cross the auction block at the Fall GAA Classic Auction at No Reserve. That’s amazing. Makes you want to get a bidder’s number doesn’t it? This is a sweet ride which comes with its factory soft top and color matching factory auxiliary hardtop. It has a black interior and a 327 / 300 V8 engine with automatic transmission. What makes it over the top is the fact that it has factory air conditioning as well. The advertising copy says it has power steering and power brakes. Click here to watch the walk-around video and hear it run. What condition class would you put this one in?
1955 Studebaker Speedster
We’ve never seen this unique “Lemon/Lime” paint scheme on a 1955 Studebaker Speedster before. As we found out, the first 14 Studebaker Speedster show cars to be produced came from the factory with the unusual Hialeah Green and Sun Valley Yellow paint combo. The Speedster was a one-year only model built to compete with the Corvette and Thunderbird of that era. It was also the Top-o-the-Line model for Studebaker that year and was more expensive than both the Corvette and Thunderbird. It was basically a Studebaker President in the top trim model with a big front bumper and chrome grille trim with gold plated hood ornament. This one is going to be sold at No Reserve as part of the Fall GAA Classic Auction in Greensboro, North Carolina, during the three-day auction event, November 6-8, 2025.
And there are many more No Reserve vehicles to be offered at this year’s Fall GAA Classic Auction in Greensboro. Click here to view some of the top cars already on the docket as advertised here on the Cars-On-Line.com dealer network.

1967 Corvette 427/435 Convertible
Michael and friends take you for a test drive in this Marina Blue 1967 Corvette 427/435 Convertible. It not only sounds great with the sidepipes and muscle car rumble, but it handles like its on rails. This one is being advertised this week by Ideal Classic Cars in Venice, Florida. After the test drive they put the Corvette on a lift so you can inspect the undercarriage. They say it is a numbers matching 435 hp big block L71 with the original tank sticker. This 4-speed Corvette is said to be period correct with Winters aluminum intake and 4-wheel disc brakes. Click the video window for an interesting ride.

Collector Cars with Low Miles
Corvette Collector Edition
Orlando Classic Cars has done it again. They listed some truly amazing low miles cars again this week. Their specialty at Orlando Classic Cars is finding low miles collector cars in “like new” condition. So let’s take a look at this 1982 Corvette Collector Edition that comes with the optional T-top carrier. Take a look at the photo of the odometer. You’ll see that this classic Corvette has only 4,490 miles. The ’82 was the first in a long line of Corvette Collector Editions. It was also the last year for the C3 Stingrays. Deals of the Day
1975 Corvette Convertible
A low miles 1975 Corvette Convertible was listed for sale through the Classic Auto Mall in Pennsylvania. They say this blue beauty has a title verified 73,309 actual miles. It comes with its auxiliary hardtop and they say it is numbers matching, including the L48 350 small block engine. Bright Blue metallic paint graces this classic Corvette enhances the raked stance along ith American Racing Torque Thrust wheels and heat shielded side pipes. This is an epic look. They say the fiberglass classic still runs strong, sounds great and handles with ease. The headlights will need work (they don’t close properly.) But this Corvette retains its cool. The best part may be the price. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. Their asking price is $19,900.
1937 Ford Coupe
A steel bodied 1937 Ford Coupe was listed this week by its private party seller from Witchita, Kansas. Make sure you note this price. It will not last long. It is for sale now. He says the fenders are glass. It has a very unusual engine and transmission combination for a street rod. It has a Ford SHO 3.0 liter engine and a 5-speed T-5 transmission with 4:11 gears. It also has all the right equipment, i.e. air conditioning, power windows, door poppers, and the paint is a Mitsubishi Huntington Blue. The seller told us this car is a beauty. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Sunday. His asking price is only $25,000.
1946 Mercury Business Cpe
Another car that just came in this week is also priced right. Here is a 1946 Mercury Business Coupe listed for sale by a Wisconsin private party seller. You will note that it is a Canadian short door coupe. The street rod is powered by an SBC 383 stroker engine, and it has the Mustang II front end, which they say was professionally installed. The transmission is a Turbo 350 automatic which turns a Nova Posi rear end. He says it has new floor pans, rockers, running boards and roll pan, along with a “Bitchin” dash with electronic gauges and Painless wiring harness. However, he does say it needs a new interior because the leathr seats are from an old Lincoln. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Monday. His asking price is only $12,500.
1948 Kaiser 4-Door Sedan
Have you seen this 1948 Kaiser 4-Door Sedan in the Kaiser Section of the Cars-On-Line.com website? It may be the best hidden secret on the website. It is being offered for sale by a private party seller from Germantown, Wisconsin. The family says it has owned the car for more than 30 years, and have driven it “all over.” They say the recent work includes a rebuilt engine, brakes, fuel system, raiator and transmission. They call it a “great road car with overdrive transmission.” They say it “runs out at 70 mph very easily … “ and has new tires on it. The paint is another issue. It will probably need a paint job at some point. But they claim the interior is “nice.” It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Tuesday next week if it lasts that long. Their asking price is $11,000.
2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS
Do you have the phone in your hand right now? You’ll need to act fast to get a shot at this 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS which was just listed for sale by a private party seller from Bangor, Maine. They say it has been cared for and driven less than 5,000 miles a year from new. And they have service records from the dealership that took care of it. The Tiger Paw radials are said to be new and mounted on perfect 17-inch alloys. They say it stops straight and steers well, a delight to drive. The seller has posted a walk-around video inspection in his ad. This is the Eclipse edition with the power retractable convertible top that does not take up all the trunk space. Nice engineering. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Wednesday next week. His asking price is only $8,990.
1964 Chrysler Imperial Crown
This is the luxury car you want! Cody’s Classic Cars in Stanley, Wisconsin just posted a 1964 Chrysler Imperial Crown classic for sale. They say they just returned from the Route 66 Fest in Springfield, Illinois. They took this car on the long journey and said it “floats down the highway and is a breeze to drive.” Loaded with power steering and brakes, windows and seat; the radio and power antenna even work! They say you can drive it anywhere. The odometer shows 48,027 miles. It is powered by a 413 ci V8 and has an automatic transmission. The color is Silver Turquoise with a blue interior. Click here to view a walk-around video and hear it run. It will be our DEAL of the DAY late next week. Their asking price is $13,500.
1989 Shelby Dakota
Highly collectible, this 1989 Shelby Dakota Pickup was a marketing success when it was tauted by Chrysler back in the day. The Shelby pickup was a limited production truck based on the Dodge Dakota Sport pickup, and it was only offered that one year. This truck is No 911 out of just 1,500 produced. It would be the rarest piece in your Shelby collection. The private party seller is from Connecticut. He tells us this Shelby Dakota is “in perfect condition.” “Everything works, including A/C, original rims, interior all original.” He says there is no rust, no dents and no dings. He says all receipts for service work go with the truck. This was the first Shelby truck ever. It will be our DEAL of the DAY late next week. The asking price is $19,500. What a find!
