Original Hemi ‘Cuda
The R Code Hemi Cudas are unparalleled performance cars. Their legacy as the most important muscle car ever produced is celebrated among car collectors. Most collectors will tell you it is the one car they most want to own for their collection. The aggressive styling and powerful Hemi engine equals perfection in the eyes of Mopar collectors.
So our hearts skipped a beat when we saw this 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda just listed on the Cars-On-Line.com website in our Mopar Muscle Car Section. The B5 Blue metallic paint and factory N96 shaker hood are just what the doctor ordered for a collector who needs a Hemi car for his collection. It is being offered for sale by Legendary Motorcar Company, the reknowned specialty car dealership that traffics in some of the top cars in the world. It has the factory A32 4.10 Dana 60 rear axle, the A21 Elastomeric front bumper and B51 power brakes. The car is a stunning example, the result of a full rotisserie restoration.
Legendary Motorcar Company knows a thing or two about quality restorations. Their shop has produced some world class collector cars, from muscle cars to exotics. Be sure to look at all the photos (at the link.) Top cars like this one only come along once in a while.

Classic Car News This Week
Raleigh Classic Auction
We just got back from the Raleigh Classic Auction in North Carolina. Wow! Did we have a blast there. The people are real nice and the atmosphere is pretty laid back compared to the “up tight” national auctions you see on TV. This is one you should put on your bucket list if you are looking for a quality collector car to add to your collection. You can buy a good car at this show. One of our regular Cars-On-Line.com dealer network members told us he has no fears about buying online from this auction because he always gets a good car here. As we were checking out, the transport company asked if we had gotten a good deal on the car we were shipping. We told him we had gotten a fair price on a really good car. One regular at the show offered, “It’s more important that you got a good car than that the price was good.” That’s the way we feel about it, too. The Raleigh Classic people take great care to curate the selection of cars that appear here. “I have no problem buying a car from this auction online,” one respected dealer told us on Friday. “They take care of you here.” The winter edition of the Raleigh Classic is scheduled for December 5-6, 2025. Click here to review our coverage of the Raleigh Classic last weekend.
Inspect Before You Buy
We always tell our buyers to make sure to “Inspect Before You Buy.” That’s why our Cars-On-Line Inspection Service is so important to the collector car hobby these days. A buyer from the Midwest wanted to buy a 1959 Ford Galaxie Sunliner from a dealer in the next state over from him. Although he had already seen the car himself, he wanted an independent third party analysis to find out if there were problems he couldn’t detect. These are big cars, so the inspector noticed that the braking was a little slow even for drum brakes. For the price, the car runs out nice and handles well. The inspector did notice some waviness and orange peel in the quarter panels. You can read the whole report at the link above. Now the buyer knows the rest of the story.
Buying a collector car without a pre-purchase inspection could be a mistake. The difference between a No. 3 condition daily driver and a No. 2 condition near show quality car can be a matter of tens of $1,000’s of dollars. You can find out more about pre-purchase inspections here at this link.

1967 Chevy Nova LS7
The resto mod craze is sweeping the collector car market, and having an impact on values across the hobby. Here is a 1967 Chevy Nova with an LS7 crate engine and dry sump oiling system. It is being offered for sale at North Shore Classics in Mundelein, Illinois. The build started with a Schwartz Performance custom chassis. Everything was designed to incorporate modern day digital technology into a classic looking muscle car. Countless hours of metal fabrication produced show quality in body and paint. The custom built modular dash utilizes electronic touch-sensitive ignition, back up camera and Pioneer stereo system. Check the photos to see the custom hand-sewn interior.
Real Hertz Rent-A-Racer
The Shelby GT350-H Mustangs which were produced as a special edition for Hertz Rent-A-Car back in 1966 are arguably the best looking Shelby Mustangs ever produced. The Hertz cars were Raven black with gold trim. This week, RK Motors Charlotte just posted a 1966 Shelby GT350-H Mustang for sale. Not only is it a real deal original, it is said to be a concours level, ground-up restoration. It comes with documentation and is registered with SAAC. RK Motors tells us it has its numbers matching Hi-Po 289 ci V8 and a date-correct C4 3-speed automatic transmission. And it has the steel hood with the gold stripes. The chassis has been confirmed by the SAAC Registry.
1957 Ford Thunderbird E-Bird
What a wild color combination on this 1957 Ford Thunderbird E-Bird with the special dual 4-barrel carburetor setup. It was restored by the famous T-Bird restorer Amos Minter. Rare Torch red paint with red interior contrasts a black convertible top. It has the iconic dual quad carbs and power windows and telescipic steering column. What an unusual find! Only 1,449 T-Birds were produced with the E Code option. Click here to view a walk-around video and hear it run. Additional items with the car include a full spare wheel/tire, a car cover, original tools and a roadside jack.

Collector Cars with Low Miles
1957 Chevrolet 3100
Oh, man. Do we have the low miles collector cars for you in today’s New Listings. The one that impresses me the most is a 1957 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup being offered for sale by Connors Motor Car Company in Pennsylvania. They say it still has only 38,000 miles on it after all these years. Someone must have been taking pretty good care of it to look this good. Check out the photos at the link. It has the 235 Straight 6 engine and is the product of a frame-off restoration. It even has an oak bed with stainless hardware. Wow!

Project Vehicles for Restoration
1940 Buick Eight Sedan
The Project Car Section of the Cars-On-Line.com website has so many new listings, we are not going to be able to show all of them to you here. But we wanted to show you this 1940 Buick Eight Sedan that was just listed by Beverly Hills Car Club in Los Angeles. They did not yet post a description of the car so we have to speculate that it just came out of long term storage and looks pretty good from the exterior. You have to look at the interior pictures to see the wear and tear. It’s a great project to get started on though, right?
The following are just some of the cars available in the Project Car Section this week:

2006 Lincoln Town Car Limousine
Here is a retired stretch limousine which looks like it could still be in service. Its not often that you get a chance to own a 2006 Lincoln Town Car 28-Foot Limousine in “like new” condition. The private party seller says it has only 25,000 miles. With black leather interior, bar, 2 flat screen TV’s and privacy glass, this Lincoln limousine seats 9 passengers. He says it cost $109,000 back in 2006. Up untill last week he was asking $30,000. But he just dropped the price. (Are you sitting down?) The new price is a “give-away.” He’s now asking $21,000.

Deals of the Day
1978 Camaro Z28
A 1978 Camaro Z28 was just listed for sale by Beverly Hills Car Club in Los Angeles. We call these late 1970’s Camaros “future collectibles” because they are not on most collector’s radar yet. But they have the potential to be valuable in the future. This one has classic Z28 styling with a 350 ci V8 engine and 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetor with automatic transmission. It has a spoiler and 15-inch steel wheels with Z28 center caps. It has been updated with a Jensen Touch Screen, and comes with a center console and bucket seats. This was an original California Camaro, from the Van Nuys plant. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Saturday. The asking price is $18,750.
1932 Chevrolet Confederate
Personally, I think the 1932 Chevrolet with its stainless steel air vents along the hood is an iconic look. This week, the Classic Auto Mall listed a 1932 Chevrolet Confederate BA Series 5-Window Coupe that captures the flavor of those early times. It still has just 83,908 actual miles, according to the ad copy. It is believed to have been restored in the 1950’s, but is now showing its age. They say the sheet metal is straight and solid. You can see from the photos that the paint is cracking. They say it starts and drives as it should. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Sunday. Their asking price is $16,000
1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe
The Classic Auto Mall also has a 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe 4-Door Sedan for sale. This one seems to have been beautifully preserved. Look closely aa the photos. The vast amount of chrome and trim look good as photographed. You may want to have it inspected before you buy. In the description they indicate some equipment that does not work. But on the test drive they say it drove well. It has a 218 ci 6 cylinder engine with a 3-speed manual transmission. Mileage is actually unknown, although it shows 53k on the odometer. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Monday. The price is only $11,900. For the right buyer, this could be the car you’ve been looking to restore.
1948 MG TC Roadster
A 1948 MG TC Roadster two-seater sports car was listed for sale this week by a collector from Canada. It is a fully running car that is registered and in use. It is right-hand-drive and has the rare Aero racing windshield. The seller says it was restored over the years as he has owned it. He indicates that it is now running “great.” He repainted it British Racing Green, a popular color. It has the 1250 cc engine with a 4-speed transmission. He says he recently rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the fuel pump, fuel lines and put in a new coil. You can have it inspected in Alberta, Canada. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Tuesday. The asking price is $17,900
1951 Packard 200
The Packard brand was so important in those pre-war days that it is hard to imagine what went wrong with the company entering the 1950’s. It was still considered a wealthy man’s car when this 1951 Packard 200 Special was produced. This entry level offering came with a Straight 8 engine and an automatic transmission. It is being offered for sale by Haggle Me, an internet broker selling the car for their client. They say it runs and drives “great.” This car was rebuilt at some point. You may want to have it inspected before you buy. It has a clear title. It will be our DEAL of the DAY on Wednesday next week. Their asking price is $10,500.
1965 Plymouth Valiant
A private party seller from South Carolina tells us that his 1965 Plymouth Valiant Signet V8 Convertible was restored by a previous owner. He says the top, paint and interior were completed. Later the motor and transmission were rebuilt. He put a 3.55 posi in her, plus an 8 3/4 “ rear end, along with air shocks. He put speakers in the kick panels. Under the hood you will find an aluminum radiator, compressor kit for air, and a billet electronic distributor. The car came with factory air conditioning. He calls it an above average driver with dual exhaust. He says he has the original parts to go along with the car. It will be our DEAL of the DAY late next week. The asking price is $18,000.
2004 Nissan 350Z Convertible
With Millennials now outnumbering Baby Boomers in the collector car market, it stands to reason the preferences for collectible motorcars is changing. So its no surprise that this 2004 Nissan 350Z Convertible is now more likely to show up at a car show near you. This one is being offered for sale this week at the Classic Auto Mall in Morgantown, Pennsylvania. They say that it has just 38,309 actual miles, verified by the title. The 350Z was made for performance and fun. With 18-inch Nismo wheels, it looks like it is track ready. A saddle leather interior enhances the look and feel of comfort. It will be our DEAL of the DAY late next week. The asking price is $16,000.
Often there are more cars that deserve to be in the DEAL of the DAY than we can schedule for our front page feature. Here is a list of cars that just missed the cut for the DEAL of the DAY this week. Remember, you saw them here first:
