Sunfire Big Block
For classic Corvette collectors the year to own is 1967. That was the year they produced the 427 big block Corvette creating 435 horsepower. The Big Block Corvettes of that year got the stinger hood which is the look everyone wants. But at the top of that food chain stands the Sunfire Yellow Corvette convertible with a black stinger. That is the iconic look that captures the imaginations of Corvette collectors around the world. It just doesn’t get any better than that.
Today just such a car has appeared in our Corvette Section. This Sunfire Yellow 1967 Corvette 427/435 Convertible comes with a black stinger and equipped with an M-21 4-speed. It is being offered for sale this week at Verrillo Motor Car Company in Clifton Park, New York. They tell us it was produced on 4/2/1967, and originally sold new at Gates Chevrolet in Mishawaka, Indiana. After being restored, this classic big block Corvette has achieved an NCRS Top Flight Award, Bloomington Gold OEM Award, MCACN Gold Concourse Award and an MCACN Triple Diamond Award. This Corvette also comes with an NCRS validated Tank Sticker and a CCAS Crank Case Affirmation Certificate.
As do all classic cars, this one has an interesting story behind it. It is well detailed in Verrillo’s description. Read the history on this Sunfire Yellow Corvette on their ad page at the link above.
They say this car comes with its F41 suspension, and N11 off-road exhaust. The CCAS Engine Pad confirmation was done by Al Grenning, a noted Corvette historian. It has power windows and the transistor ignition. A Corvette collector would have to admit. It doesn’t get any better than this.

This Weeks Featured Stories
Chevrolet Apache Pickup
What a find! This week a 1958 Chevrolet Apache 3200 Pickup was listed by a private party seller from Marion, Illinois. The seller’s feature photo was so stunning that we thought we would have to show it to you here. In addition to the great photos, the ad says this classic pickup truck has only 28,379 miles from when it was new. No wonder it looks so good. It’s hardly broken in. What collectors will drool over, though, is its unrestored, original condition. To top it off, the color you see is an Anniversary Gold two-tone, a one-year only color to celebrate GM’s Golden Anniversary. It even comes with all five original U.S. Royal tires. This truck is a diamond in the rough. A retired General Manager at Chevrolet identified this truck as a “P&A Demonstrator.” It was a display vehicle to show off special Chevrolet parts and accessories.
Custom Show Car
One-off custom show cars are always a big draw at national level car shows. Here is a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Custom Convertible that was purpose built for custom car shows. It would have qualified for top level competitions such as the Ridler Award. And you can drive it on the street. It is being offered for sale at Vanguard Motor Sales in Plymouth, Michigan today. They tell us, “This Bel Air has undergone a very extensive restomod build with no expense spared!” Finished in copper over grey with a completely custom paint job, the custom chrome trim was fabricated to match the theme. It has a 400 ci EFI small block, aluminum cooling system and aluminum heads with a durashine intake. The car features an Art Morrison custom frame, power rack & pinion steering, Wilwood disc brakes, Strange coilover suspension and Budnick wheels. Click here to view an interesting walk-around video and take it out for a test drive. What a thrill ride!

1972 Oldsmobile Indy Pace Car
Sometimes we may give the impression that adding video to your ad has to be an arduous task … too time consuming and technically challenging. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, a lot of sellers are intimidated with trying to talk while they are capturing video. Here is a video of a great and historic car, the 1972 Oldsmobile Indy Pace Car Convertible (you know, the Linda Vaughn Indy 500 car.) North Shore Classics did a quick video of the car. No dialogue. Top goes up and down and you can hear it rumble. That’s all you need sometimes to sell your car. It takes just minutes to shoot. Click the video window above to watch.
Have you seen our CarsOnLine.tv Classic Car Video marketplace? To feature your car on CarsOnLine.tv, just add a video to your Cars-On-Line.com ad. Collector Cars with Low Miles
Early Dodge Viper
These first-generation Dodge Vipers are starting to demand top dollar in the collector car market. Here is one of the best to collect. That’s because this 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 still has just 16,600 miles. The private party seller from Colorado says it is in excellent condition because it has always been kept in a heated garage, and driven only on nice days. It has a factory hard top, soft top and a rare tonneau cover to cover the passenger seat when it is not being used. It comes with a custom car cover, original owner’s manual and Service and Powertrain shop manuals.
Here are more recent Low Miles additions:
1966 Corvette Convertible, Streetside Charlotte, 48k miles
1993 Corvette 40th Anniv, Webe Autos, 40,154 miles
2002 Corvette Z06, WeBe Autos, 32,794 miles
You’ll find these and hundreds more in our Low Miles Section online now.
