Ford Woodie Wagon Rod. Freshly built woodie wagon with 3,000 miles. Complete frame off build. ZZ4 GM crate motor, 700R4 trans, 9 inch ford, posi with 3:73 gears.
Fatman front clip, Mustang II rack, power steering, power disc brakes front, rear.
Smoothed inner fender panels and firewall. Birdseye maple custom air cleaner housing. Vintage A/C unit.
17" and 20" Torq Thrust wheels.
2009 Goodguys Heartland Nationals Woodie award. Very nice black clear coat finish. As a woodworker I spent forever on the fit and finish of the wood. Frames are maple and the panels are bookmatched rose wood. Many coats of marine grade varnish. Grain patterns flow perfectly front to back. Finish on the wood is equal to the paint quality.
LED taillights mounted into the bottom of tailgate.
Seats done by Jim McFalls, with Rave synthetic leather. Birdseye maple interior accents including wooden slat headliner.
A beautifully finished woodie that attracts a crowd each time shown.
