Plymouth Barracuda Convertible. This car has been rotisserie restored to its original FY1 Lemon Twist yellow with the intention to be driven and enjoyed not of being a concourse trailer queen. It is a very strong #2 car even in it's driver state. The body and paint is exceptional, far better then factory. Just look at the fit on the panels and the way the body lines match in the pictures. The engine is a Chrysler 360/390hp crate motor with less than 1000 miles on it. The engine compartment features power steering and brakes, a Griffin aluminum radiator and Hooker Competition headers. The exhaust is 2.5 inch with an X pipe (it sounds wicked). Transmission is a Kiesler 5spd manual with a hydraulic clutch. Rear end would be the infamous Dana 60 with 3.54 gears. It cruises along at 70mph twisting only 2000rpms. With the exception of the crack in the dash, the interior is very nice. All of the gauges work as does the horn. All lights work, exterior including the side markers, interior and dash. Overall a very nice driving, lots of attention getting car. Total 1970 production of Barracuda, Gran Coupe & Cuda convertibles was only 2785. Not a lot of nice ones left. Don't fool yourself into thinking that you'll buy a cheaper one and restore it yourself. You can not do a car of this quality for less than what this one is selling for. Step up, spend the money and enjoy the car now, not in 10 years after you've spent an additional $10-$15K.
