Chevy El Camino SS 427 . 450 HP / 427 4-speed
PROTECTO-PLATE
This is a beautiful frame off, nut & bolt, restoration. The car took five years to build with every nut and bolt replaced and or upgraded. I have all the receipts, owner manuals, protecto-plate, and original purchase order. The car was purchased originally from Weiler Chevrolet in Oregon City, Oregon. I was told it has never been hit. An L.A. retired Police officer is the individual responsible for this absolutely METICULOUS BUILD. It is almost unbelievable to the effort and extent of detail that the builder put into this car. No expense was spared to make this a one of a kind El Camino. This is a car that truly has to be seen to be appreciated. I have a very comprehensive component list for the car, and would be happy to e-mail a copy or go over it with you and answer any questions. I also will be glad to take any additional detailed digital photos you may want. The car will not be delivered or picked up without the buyer inspecting it personally, or by having a KNOWLEDGABLE representative validating the quality of the car. Please be advised that there is no verbal, implied, or written warrantee. The car will be sold in "As Is" condition. I trailer it to shows that are over 20 miles from home. It drives very comfortably and handles great at cruising speeds. Does not overheat at 100+ degrees. I'm told almost at every show; "Beautiful car", "Nicest Camino I've ever seen", "Unbelievably straight and beautiful paint",(not a scratch, or rust EVER). It has a very fair reserve and will be sold under the total investment. I HOLD RECIEPTS FOR OVER 70k., which do not include paint and body, or ALL the gloss black surfaces inside and out that are powder coated. (The builder had a close friend in the powder coating business). I purchased it about a year and a half ago for a very reasonable price at the Del Mar Good-Guys Show and all I'm asking for is my investment back and pass on the good fortune to the next owner. To answer the BIG question, Why are you selling the car? I am in desperate need of space and money in order to finish building a 55 Chevy "409" big window truck. Can't be more honest than that! I have a lift at home to inspect the car, and will be happy to schedule an appointment. QUESTIONS & PICTURES: DICK @ 623-261-1023 Price - $ 47,000 Negotiable, make offer |
