Recently Completed Total Renovation of Classic '56 Chevrolet and Modern GM High Performance Power Plant.
VIN # VB56K065331 - Car was totally restored in 2005. Every last part, nut and bolt has been restored, replaced, plated or powder coated. The exterior is painted Chevrolet Bolero Red Sikkens base clear coat. Grid rated #1.
The entire frame has been powder coated along with all springs and suspension pieces.
The underbody is painted the same Bolero Red Color as the body.
A rebuilt 1969 12 bolt rear end unit with posi-traction turns 3.41 gears to Nitto 555 255-50x17 tires on Torque Thrust II wheels.
Power is delivered from a GM Performance Parts ZZ383 - 425 Horsepower crate motor. The motor was installed in 2007. The transmission is a Turbo Hydro 400 with a performance shift kit and high performance internals.
The interior is custom leather including the door panels, headliner and console. The Auto Meter gauges are mounted in the console.
Cruising is kept cool by a Vintage Air Conditioning unit utilizing the stock control panel.
Engine cooling is accomplished with a polished aluminum radiator and air conditioning condenser. Custom sound system with ten CD changer.
