Mercury NASCAR Pro Touring Car. Parnelli Jones Nascar Tribute built on the TV Show "Wrecks to Riches" by custom Car Builder Barry White @ Barry's Speed Shop S.R.C.C.The theme of the build was to recreate Parnelli Jones #15 NASCAR Merc Marauder with a Pro Touring drivetrain & suspension. The car was built with the permission of the legendary racer Parnellli Jones who also autographed the car! A DVD of the build and an autographed artist's rendering of the rare Nascar Tribute is also included.
The cost of the build on the TV show was $34K in parts-but they FAILED to mention the cost of the labor 300+ hours @ $100 per hour! Barry White quoted me a price of $80K-$100K to build this Nascar Tribute! On the TV Show this car SOLD at Auction for $43K! Shortly thereafter the car was SOLD to a private collector for $68K! My LOSS= your GAIN!
