Chevy Capital Series A. This is an older mechanical and cosmetic restoration of a nice original straight rust free Oklahoma car. It is still in excellent condition, starts every time, and runs and drives great. The paint is excellent driver condition with no chips or scratches. All glass is good. Door windows roll up and down easily. Fenders are perfectly straight with no cracks or visible welds. All visible wood is in excellent condition.
Dash is original and in excellent condition. Steering wheel is nicely restored with painted spokes and original re-varnished wood rim. Seats, door panels and headliner are excellent with no tears or separations and show no wear.
The engine is the original 21.7hp four cylinder. It starts every time and runs great. It was rebuilt during the restoration. Under hood is all original with the exception of a 12 volt electrical conversion to assure reliable starting.
The under-carriage is typical of a nice original car that has been driven. It is not detailed.
Brakes are in good working order and stop the car adequately. Transmission is original three speed with floor mounted shifter. Tires are serviceable but have some weather checking. Original owners manual is in the glove box.
